Jason Friedberg is an American film director and screenwriter, who was one of the writers of the original Scary Movie. He collaborates with his partner Aaron Seltzer, and the two of them have co-written and co-directed films such as Date Movie, Epic Movie and Meet the Spartans".
Friedberg's next film with Seltzer, Disaster Movie, is slated for a August 29, 2008 release.
Friedberg and Seltzer's movies consistently turn in a reliable if not enormous box office performance, but their critical reception is consistently negative.[1][2]
