Camille Winbush (born February 9, 1990) is an American award-winning actress. Her work in television has earned her three Image Awards and a Young Artist Award.

Winbush was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Alice Winbush.[1] A natural entrepreneur, Winbush opened her own bakery/ice cream shop in 2004 named "Baked Ice" located in Pasadena, California. With the help of her mother and aunt, "Baked Ice" made a profit of roughly $120,000 in its first year. In July 2006, she announced on the talk show Montel that she was franchising her business and would be opening another bakery in Atlanta, Georgia. The new shop opened September 2007. Winbush's hobbies are gymnastics and playing the piano.
Winbush's burgeoning list of credits include a lead role in an Artisan Entertainment film, Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai with Forest Whitaker, an appearance with Arnold Schwarzenegger in Eraser and Hollywood Pictures' Dangerous Minds with Michelle Pfeiffer. In addition, she has had a recurring role on 7th Heaven and co-starring roles on That's Life, The Norm Show, NYPD Blue and Any Day Now, to name a few. She also guest starred in Disney's musical production of Geppetto.
She got her big break playing the role of Vanessa "Nessa" Thomkins, the niece of the late comedian Bernie Mac on the FOX comedy The Bernie Mac Show. The series ran from 2001 to 2006. During her run on the show Winbush earned numerous award nominations for her role, winning three NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and a Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a TV Series (Comedy or Drama) - Leading Young Actress. In 2007, she appeared as Dr. Richard Webber's niece Camille, a cancer patient, on the ABC hit show Grey's Anatomy in the fourth season episode, The Heart of the Matter. This part had been previously played by Tessa Thompson in two episodes of the second season.
Currently, Winbush can be seen playing Lauren, a recurring character on the ABC Family family drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
In 2002, she recorded "One Small Voice" featuring singers Myra & Taylor Momsen and "The Night Before Christmas Song" for the compilation album School's Out! Christmas. She also sang on the soundtrack of the Disney musical production of Geppetto.
