A third year of After Dark's HorrorFest has been announced for 2008. No dates have been officially set, although four films have been named. The four films so far are The Brøken, Faithless, Perkins' 14 and The Butterfly Effect 3.[1] Despite having 4 films announced, the main page on the official website has only announced 3 of the films and does not mention The Butterfly Effect 3. As of May 12, The Brøken is the only film that has been completed.[2] Lena Headey, Richard Jenkins, Asier Newman, and Michelle Duncan star in The Brøken, which was shown at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival[2] The film about a British woman who tracks down a woman who appears to be her exact double was written and directed by Sean Ellis.
After Dark Films will produce and distribute both Faithless and Perkins' 14, making these the first films that the company produced and released as part of the 8 Films to Die For.[3]
